Color Paints

The first thing I want to talk about is OPI's Color Paints. The stores near me did not carry full size bottles, but they did have the sample set; so, I picked one up for about $12 wholesale at my friendly neighborhood cosmoprof. If you aren't a cosmetologist the retail value is about $20.
You get the silver base coat and 5 of the colors: yellow, orange, pink, teal, and purple. It is easy to use you apply one coat of silver, let it dry for a minute and then glide the colors you want on the nail. My first attempt was not half bad, I love the way they blend together to make a lot of different colors. I would have loved to have a primary blue and red so I could make any color I wanted.

Stamping was a little difficult with the silver, but it could have been my scraper. I could not find my gift card that I love using so I had to settle for one of those metal scrapers which don't work that well.

All in all I love the set it really reminds me of the color tints from last year, but with a wider range of colors and not as thick so blending is easier. I cannot wait to play with these on a client.

Stay Wicked,
 Anna
