This was so much fun. I got to play with the application of liquid sand nail polish when it comes to stamping. I used a variety of colors in these so the coordinate but definitely have sever differences. Let's take a look at Staff wielding Jafar.
I wanted his main nail to be really gritty and mean looking. So I used a base of Emotion liquid sand and stamped a pattern using Magazine Cover Mouse. I love how this put color on the nail without looking patterned. His accent nail is all about his desires I used red and put a fancy gold pattern over top. I love the contrast of the beauty and wealth he fires and the gritty life he actually lives.
For this one I don't really don't have an accent versus main nail color, because I feel like Jay just rolls with the punches and enjoys life. He seems to be down to earth. The black nail utilized Black Onyx with a pattern in Magazine Cover Mouse. I love how clear the pattern is, but still the depth of the liquid sand. The brown nail uses It's All San Andrea's Fault with Love. Angel. Music. Baby stamped over top to get remind me of sand dunes.
In this duo I definitely think my favorite design is a tie between Jay's nails. I could see myself wearing both of these designs and I am not that big on brown.
Stay Wicked,
Anna
